  • how you can run windows and backtrack persistent, case i will not instal the samba every time that i need?

  • @roots1528 all right roots I figured out how to go around this. Check out my new video it shoud be called Back Track 4R2 share files for dummies. Its a manual way of going about samba. its a bit of me talking and boring in my opinon but since youtubes complained about my videos being too fast and no talk i decided to be nice. :| i dont know why im being nice but eh go figure. I guess i was just in a color-full mood hahaha. But the new video is up and it should show you :).

  • @roots1528 yes u got BT4R2 verion. Which I found to have a problem with networking. I am not sure why this issue is doing this.. but i will tell backtrack about it and hopefully they will point me in a good direction. once i get a fix i will post up a new video... soo many things wrong with bt4r2 :| idk why but eh hopefually it gets fixed soon.. best of luck and please be paient.

  • @roots1528 Something else I forgot to mention. When I go to System>Shared Folders, it says that I am running an unsupported platform and to choose a Linux distribution that I is similar to. I tried, Ubuntu 8, but as described in my previous post it did not work :(

  • Thanks for making this guide! I'm at the point where I open System>Shared Folders and it says that Sharing services are not installed. However, this box keeps coming up even after I click on Install services. Do you know what I did wrong? Thanks again :)
