i dont mind hiking for very long distances along railroad tracks as long as there is interesting stuff along it and most importantly Telegraph poles (im an insulator collector too)

@tofu46 Thats a slide fence. The area is so rugged that it is a sheer rock cliff 100's of feet up. The post are strung with wire, and if rocks come down, it brakes the wire and sets a stop indication on the signal. Thanks for watching...

Thats for sure. We got in there easy enough when the forman road us in the highrail truck, but we still had to hike out. We like places you have to work at, and a 10 mile hike would be nothing for the right shot. Take care. Jack...
