@MrMichaeld97 Just because I like the music doesn't mean I'm a communist.

A major problem nowadays is that, generally speaking, so many young people have a limited knowledge of world history, world geography and the sacrifices made by previous generations around the world (it's not their fault but a consequence of today's educational systems).

I agree, there's no place at all for hateful comments in the present context, especially when you're talking about a country like Russia that endured over 23 million deaths during the Second World War (about 14% of the entire 1939 population) and played a pivotal role in finally putting the Third Reich to rest following the 2 1/2 year Siege of Leningrad (1941-1944).

I love this anthem. Hello from England!
It's a shame to come here and see such hateful comments. Sure, I am an American, but my respect and love for foreign countries and cultures runs deep. This fighting about who is "smarter" or "richer" or "most powerful" is really the only reason that we have so much war, hate, and poverty. I came to respect and enjoy Russian culture as a fellow human, and to learn about our world, to make it a better place. I don't care where you're from...just don't be a hater.
