Beautiful ! I think this excerpt is just kamancheh and tonbak. No tar. Kalhor is using technique of strumming that he has mastered to add new sound to Persian music. Then he changes to bow standard technique. WONDERFUL - but have never heard recording of all three ALIZADEH, KALHOR, and KHALADJ together. I have seen Alizadeh with Khaladj at UCLA in intimate venue. Maybe best concert I ever see ..... Persian or western . It should be nice in May in Europe. I hope they don't add vocal. Just saaz !
