DCFD 44th and Lee Sts N.E.

This fire occured in the 4400 blk. of Lee St. N.E. just minutes after a fire only a couple blocks away in the 900 blk. of 46th. St. N.E. was knocked down.

The Firefighting Deputy Chief and the units from the previous WORKING FIRE DISPATCH make up the 1st arriving companies (Truck Co. 13 and Engine Co. 7). With unusual DCFD tactics at work this is raw video from the fire ground, however, does not depict typical DCFD FIREFIGHTING tactics.

you could sit here and sideline quarterback this fire all day long if you want. the fact is you werent there and any fireman will tell you..theres the "by the books" way of getting things done..then theres the real way you do what you have to do to get things done sometimes

@pshidku this is a good point that i never thought about but at my station we have a rig we can fill air tanks off of and the main station we hav a auto mutual aid with also has a rig we can fill bottals off of
