Maybe Bert's better off with Ernie out of the place, considering the questionable nature of his attempt at "help", Of course even Ernie isn't as bad as Grover :-)

I'M SICK, ERNIE, CAN'T YOU TELL THAT?
When I was a kid and saw this, I thought Bert was really sick. Good acting on his part.
It's funny as hell how it takes Ernie forever to tell that Bert is sick, then when he finally realizes it, he doesn't care about Bert, but he is only concerned with who Bert caught the cold from.
Ernie should put on his doctor outfit and treat Bert. (I'm talking about another clip where Ernie pretends to be a doctor and gives Bert a check-up.)

I always loved the weak "ahhh" sound that Bert always made at the end of each segment. LOL

Erie is not stupid, he is irritating!!! If you look at the different skits Erie was selfish and rude. If I had been Bert I would never be his room mate. you have to admit this stuff is hilarious!!!! I felt bad for Bert when I use to watch this.

Incidentally, Frank Oz is really very good at sounding all stuffed up.

Abso-freaking-lutely. After the way Ernie treats Bert (or fails to treat him) in this sketch, I can only conclude that Bert has the patience of a saint when it comes to friendships.
