Prepping A Turkey

1.Remove neck & giblets from the inside of the turkey. If you are planning to stuff the turkey, make sure you wash it thoroughly, inside and out.

2.Season the turkey, using a blend of herbs, oregano, and garlic. Rub the seasoning on the outside of the turkey skin as well as in between the meat and the skin. Use your hand to separate the skin and rub the seasoning inside the skin. This will allow flavor to seep into the turkey meat, not just the skin.

3. Baste the outside of the turkey with melted butter, for browning and flavor.
