She will be deported if you do not step up to help, make some calls and make sure you pass this around!

Americans should never reward anyone for breaking the law

This comment has received too many negative votes show
America needs to be smart here even if her family broke the laws..It looks that she can give back to this country with her education, help etc.Albanians should have a priority when immigrating in America.Very smart people, plus they are Europeans ;)

the most ashamed thing is that some albanians here talk posotive about her deportation i mean look at your self in the mirror and ask ur self y r u there and how did all your albanians from albania get to live in the rest of the world comon guys none of you were leagals but govs gived u the right to stay and actualy they gived it to the wrong people they gived it to the criminals to those who made masakers n albania. so u are picking in a girl that s just another american citizen good luck herta

Anyway I'm out. Just making my point, not trying to convince anyone but all sides and interpretations should be taken into account in deciding these type of cases.
I hope there's a last minute change of mind from the officials about this case.

That's why is a case by case basis. In addition I prefer honesty. There are some people who came during her age and now they have double-headed eagles tattooed on their back and don't know anything substantial about he history of Albania. She is an integrated Albanian in the American society not an assimilated Albanian without being integrated which is usually the sad case in US.

Are you serious ? Cmon now. The girl came here when she was 11. Have you lived in Albania during 1997-2001 ? She was 5-6-7-8-9-10 during that time. I wonder what war she remembers best. She didn't say "Albanians are foreign to me", but "Albania is foreign to me", and this is true. In the past 8 years the country has dramatically changed, for worse or good I'm not going to comment here. She didn't come here when she was 30. She has no established roots there, no friends not anything.

Regardless, the Bill of Rights applies to all citizens and non-citizens, of course some people will say otherwise but regardless the Bush administration was criticized and the Obama administration is being heavily pressured to apply(or at least portions of it) it for terrorists locked up in Guantanamo. You're asking where do I live ? Where do you live ? You can't just use the argument of an expired visa to deport someone, it isn't that simple.

Then you should go and protest against the rally being staged for her by Americans, Albanians and other ethnic groups in Detroit.
