World's Smallest Railgun

Made from 6 330V camera caps, a single AA battery and the charging circuit. The voltage drops through two aluminum weld bars sandwiched between some lucite across a small piece of aluminum foil, turns it into a plasma and uses Lorentz forces to fire the plasma at a very high velocity from the muzzle of the gun. Sometimes hard to see because of the speed, and even when the footage is stopped, the forces inside the gun disrupt the picture on the video.

They are more efficient then coil guns, small hand held coil guns usually only hit 10% efficiency tops but the problem with rail guns are that they tend to be self destructive. The forces created usually bend, burn and distort the rails tremendously. The bend and damage renders the weapon destroyed
