-Nick's Side-
I watched her sleep quietly and calmly. She was so beautiful. Being with her was all I need. I saw her eyes flutter open, slowly. A smile grew on her face. I smiled right back.
"Hi....
-Nick's Side-
I watched her sleep quietly and calmly. She was so beautiful. Being with her was all I need. I saw her eyes flutter open, slowly. A smile grew on her face. I smiled right back.
"Hi." She said, looking at me with her eyelids half open.
"Sleepy Head." I said, as I chuckled.
She looked over the clock, 10:27 am, the clock read. She groaned.
"Why is it so early?" She asked me, her voice strolling off and on, so I could barley understand her.
"Early? It's late." I told her. I pulled the covers off of her. I got out of the bed and headed over to her on the other side of the bed. I picked her up as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I headed downstairs, carefully, making sure I stepped on each step and didn't fall. I laid her down onto the couch, and I walked over to the kitchen.
"Come on Selena!" I became frustrated. "Wake up." I sighed.
"No..." She groaned again.
I took out bacon and eggs, a pan, and turned on the stove. I put the bacon in the pan, and I cracked the eggs in the other, steadily.. I looked over and didn't see Selena.
"I'm going out." She said, as she put on her black puffy coat.
"Where?" I asked her.
"Out." She responded.
I just continued cooking, not caring for now. The door slammed as she made her way out of the door. Where could she had possibly gone?
2:56 pm, the clock read. I looked at my watch, 2:56, the same time. Where was she? The bar? The mall? Walmart? Her friend's house? I questioned myself. Maybe everything was ok with her. I reassured myself that she IS okay, I hope...
I looked over at the clock, it read 7:19 pm. I started to worry. It's been over 7 hours, and she still hasn't came back. I panicked. I ran outside and got into the other car. I sped down the highway. Looking everywhere for her. I already looked at the bar, Walmart, asked her friends, checked the mall, she was no where. My heart was beating. My WIFE was out there, possibly in danger. I thought about how she made my heart light up when she cracked a joke. I smiled to myself, but it faded as soon as a thought popped up in my head. Was she dead? I shook my head, and continued searching.
I woke up, 1:34 am. I gave up. She was nowhere to be seen. I doubt she's home. This was terrible. My wife is out there, and I am sure that she is in danger. I looked around, and backed up my car and drove home. i sighed in frustration, and I hit the window, it impacted and shattered. My fist was bloody.I pulled up into my drive way and got out. I opened the door, slowly, seeing if she was here.
"Selena? Sel?" I called out, hoping for a response.
Nothing.
I plopped down onto the couch, tears starting to form. I missed her. I remember her face and her laugh. Her smile and her voice. Everything aobut her and her features. I thought about something. Maybe she was ok. Maybe she was somewhere I don't know, and safe. Maybe I was too doubtful.
1,2,3....
I counted every moment, seeing when she was coming. Nothing. No one. No where. She wasn't spotted. 4:58 am. I couldn't go to sleep. i counted once again...
1,2,3.....
