Outlawpositivcharg and trainer/driver Terry Gallant equaled the track record for aged pacing geldings with a win in the $7,500 Exhibition Cup Invitational on a stakes-packed Saturday night card at Truro Raceway

Astronomical (Dr. Ian Moore) took early command of the field, with Outlawpositivcharg tucked in behind second through panels of :26.4, :55.2, and 1:24.4. Outlawpositivcharg swept out of the pocket in the stretch to win by three quarters of a length in 1:54.2.

Astronomical was second and Henschke A (Darren Crowe) was third.

The four-year-old Blissful Hall gelding is a seven-time winner this year in 16 starts. He is owned by Fred Lamont of Calgary, AB.(c)2008 Standardbredcanada.ca
