Gossip Girl - Let Go (J'y Suis Jamais Alle)

Woow my second vid!

This video is about the beginning of season 2 of Gossip Girl (with a small recap at the start). I used only the first episode. Ok, so it's not perfect.. but I did finally discover how to time a bit better with windows movie maker :)!

I really like Gossip Girl.. the characters are interesting (some more then others). Somehow the song Let Go came up when I wanted to make the vid, I guess it mostly came from the Blair/Chuck stuff that happened. Honestly... on one hand I want to kill them for being in denial and on the other I really like it because this way there's more "longing". And that's so romantic. And Chuck's really good at looking rejected and angsty. Blair is being manipulative and cool as always. Also did I mention Dan's smile is adorable at around 2:13. Actually all of Dan is sweet in the first episode (even the two girls because it made that really funny scene at the party where they soaked him in weird alien coloured drinks). Serena looked like a greek goddess in that dress (very cool), and Nate is becoming slightly more interesting because of his "Older married woman" affair. Though he's really better off with Vanessa. Yes, I sort of forgot Jenny and Erik, but I'm not sure where I could've fitted them in anyway.

The first song I used is a bit of "J'y Suis Jamais Alle" from the Amelie soundtrack by Yann Tiersen.

The second song is "Let Go" covered from Frou Frou's song by Boys Like Girls. I used the cover because I though the boy bandish sound of it suited Gossip Girl better.

I loved the beginning with J'y Suis Jamais Alle...I love this song, Yann Tiersen is a freaking GOD...and I love let go but I prefer Frou Frou´s version..nice video!

This song originally from FrouFrou which the lead singer was Imogen Heap. You can check that this song "Let Go" in the ending credits for Garden State's movie.
