He mentions James Stewart millitary service, another interesting point is Jimmy's first movie after his military service was "It's a Wonderful Life" and the guy who plugged for him to get the role was the actor playing the angel. The movie did well enough to get his movie career back on track. Thanks for sharing Burt! Would like to see you do a action revenge movie!

Burt is The Man. I`ve been a fan of this man for most of my life. I am a 30 year old guy from Brazil, and we people from Brazil have much respect and love for this man`s history.Hollywood doen`t know the first thing about respecting its icons. Burt and people like Roy Scheider,Charles Bronson,John Frankenheimer and Robert Mitchum represent a Golden Era that will never come back.Hats off,Mr. Reynolds!
