Bob Lind is a VERY underrated singer-songwriter. This song has always evoked thoughts of warm summer days in an open meadow to me, so I present it as a reminder of that loveliness on this last unofficial day of summer. This song has unfortunately proven somewhat prophetic, as both butterflies and love have become more elusive in our world as the years have passed.. Let's hope neither becomes extinct in our lifetimes. Peace to all, and onto fall-my favorite season!!

heard of this song. my god it has got a lot of soul and reminds me of heartbreaking dreams not able to study in the us. It was never realised since and at 64 i still havent had the chance not to study but the least to travel to the us. this song helps me to go through all those unreachable dreams.
