somehow when i see this trailer i notice that how much of a failure it was it was enjoyable to act like god and that it is quite a good concept so i think people should stop talking about the lack of a lot and look at the good sides like creating worlds and monsters (with space adventures), I really loved to do that.

kind of a disappointment, it's too simple... and since when a game with HUGE potential like this one should be wasted with casual gamers? waste of a good game :(

It was really the hardcore players who ruined it for themselves...Will Wright made it fairly clear from the beginning that it wasn't as much of a game as it was a successor to the Sims. It's just that those gamers, me included, were a bit too foolish and perhaps mesmerized by the possibilities to really listen to him.

ye, ur right but still I think its a waste of a good game because the potential of a game like this was not totally used, so it kind of a waste...

Sucks for us "gamer" gamers yeah, but not necessarily for Maxis/EA, considering it's the casual games that often sell much more than hardcore games (see Nintendo's Wii console :S)

Meh, I don't think it really was unless you expected too much of it. It was a let-down to the normal-hardcore gamers who really expected the ultimate game. But really, it wasn't intended to be, and it's geared more towards casual gamers- the kind who enjoy games like the Sims, Animal Crossing, etc.
