Good job! I was wondering why the traffic avoidance tool was not working correctly and because you explained that it has to be connected to the power cable, I will now test it to see how well it'll work.

Thanks for the great review! I'm probably going to buy this one or the Nuvi 50.

@LazyHikerCOM most use of freeway if that option was there i think my life would be alot easier. The only options there was Shortest distance, off road, economic, and fastest time.

I have the 1450LMT, but just can't seem to get the junction view feature to work. Any time I try, the option for that feature appears, but is greyed out and I can't click on it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a older model of garmin which i love but this one is garbage. I would think getting a new model garmin will improve and uses same route as the older model but no It takes me in to intercity roadways instead of parkway and Turnpikes, as you know taking small roads and intercity roads involve lots of confusing turns. Recalculating time is a bit slower then older version. Yes, I did have it set in fastest time option. Halfway thru using this garbage i found my own way home 40 mins later

@jayjayjay4070 The only thing I can think of is "Routing options", you can choose shortest, most economic or most use of freeway
