  • Thank you Jay, i just took a MCTS for Windows 7 Config course and the only part about it i couldnt understand is the Installing, migrating, and creating images. This is an amazing step by step presentation. Thank you!

  • @KLJNHBUINOILNO You're welcome. I'm glad that it was useful for you

  • We need more cowbell.

  • @JustChuck haha --- as far as the background music is concerned i was just playing around with this chord combination in my studio and came out with the raw cut (just repeating patterns).

  • Hi Jay - I have a problem with using the copype x86 c:\winpe_x86 command at 2:06: after pressing enter I get the message "The destination directory exists" and thats it - the script does not run. I have installed the WAIK for Windows 7 and th earlier WAIK for Windows Vista and installed them on Windows 7 SP1, Windows 2003 SP2 and WinXP SP3 terminals all without success, the message is the same. Please tell me if I am missing something here? btw these videos are excellent, thanks.

  • I think the intro tune NEEDS MORE COWBELL. :)

  • hello jay.thanks ofr the video but i am still havn troubles to boot to the win pe bootdisc after creating it.i ve tried countless times to boot to windows 7 pe enviroment using a new virtual machine in microsoft virtual pc and vmware software but it doesnt boot to it.i ve seen some posts online dat advice replacing the" winpe.wim and renamaing to boot.wim" file with the existing boot.wim file in the" c:\winpe_x86\iso\sources" folder.pls help me with this as i am frustrated.

  • Jay these are GREAT! I teach a basic configuring win 7 class and this will be a wonderful video series to share with my students!!

  • Hi Jay, excellent video series. They are very helpful!!!!

My environment is PXE boot and I have yet to find any videos on how to use PXE on a bare metal system and load from a selection of images which were created using the MDT. (images would include select hotfixes, drivers and applications) It seems the original wim files are all I find when searching within the deployment share. Any instructions or pointers would be very helpful! I have over 100 systems.. Keep on making videos please!!!! :)
