In this Screencast QuickTip I talk about one of my favorite "hidden" features in Camtasia Studio version 7 from Techsmith - Drag n Drop Custom Callouts.

  • logical drive PLEASE How can I actually put a square playing a small piece of another vid of mine or playing a clip!? something like ehh.... how Shane Dawson does in the end of his videos!

  • @itachiros You could use the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature. Check the Help file for details.

  • Thanks Peter! I was waiting for my eval copy of SuperCallouts so I could check them out and recommend them but it hasn't arrived yet! ;-)

  • @logicaldrive how do copy and paste multiple callouts? it's annoying to copy and paste each callout one by one

  • @lucirz Not sure I understand your question. Callouts are "time-based", meaning that they appear at specific times in the timeline. Not sure how you would paste them in other than one-by-one...

  • @Alienware888 This is illegal. Don't do this.

  • @logicaldrive i did lyrics to this song : youtube.com/watch?v=6o0L0U9vnvs

using callouts. each time i put a line of lyrics, i put in a callout. in the end i had a bunch of callouts. but the thing is that the singer repeats the same lyrics later on, i was just wondering if i could just copy and paste all those callouts at once and paste them in another part of the video instead of doing them one by one, which i eventually ended up doing

  • "That is sooo sweeet, yes, hihi". ;-)

Nice video Lon. Where's SuperCallouts in your library?
