DME 6360 pulls a train north (RR West) on Canadian Pacific's C&M Subdivision. This is the same lashup from a video taken the previous day on the C&M Sub: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3TXskM60sk Power is DME 6360, ICE 6102, and ICE 6418. This was filmed at the CTH A railroad crossing, just north of Somers, Wisconsin. The Milepost 57.6 Defect Detector also gives a readout.

  • Nice lashup its nice to see DM&E and ICE. CN doesnt really run much of that they usually run IC GTW UP BNSF (rarely) KCS (also rarely) NS and ive seen CP a few times

  • we get a mix of everything running down our lines DM&E. I see on a daily basis, DME, CITX, CEFX, CP, ICE, SOO, old converted UP and BNSF engines some with the original color schemes but DME painted on the side... you never know what you're gunna see running down DME lines. It's pretty cool you're spotting them way out in NY on CP's lines. I'm assuming it must be the Deleware and Hudson lines where you saw them?

  • @mhicaso Sometimes a train is just a regular train, but sometimes it's good filming them for the simple fact that it's a train The Iron Beasts of the Land and @ any speed they can cause damage.

  • @307OLDS I live here in Milwaukee too n i see DME,and ICE at the downtown CP railyard all the time. They mostly run at night but you can catch them in the daytime somewhat too.

  • Cute P5. Not Rogue-sounding as other horns.

  • #487?

  • @bubbadrum1 Yes the DME was trying to get into the PRB. It wasn't just a rumor, but it was the real deal. The land owners in Wyoming and South Dakota, along with Mayo clinic in Rochester slowed the DME down. CP is still pursuing the PRB expansion, but at a much slower pace. There are many sections on the DME that are welded rail, although you can still find a lot of places with the old stick rail.

  • AWESOME im NY and today while railfanning i saw a CSX K645 ethanol lead by a ICE and a DME and a CITX

  • I heard a rumor a while back that DME was gonna start hauling coal out of wyoming. Was it too expensive to fix their garbage track? up and bnsf put a stop to that? Couldn't get the funding? just wondering if that was ever really seriously considered.
