This is a video of a maintenance recovery team to Pago Pago, American Samoa to repair a broken C-141B aircraft. We departed Hickam AFB, Hawaii for Pago Pago and fixed the aircraft, then we caught a ride on the fixed aircraft to Richmond, Australia, then we returned to Hickam AFB.
when i was stationed in woomera i took a hop from richmond to hickam and had to do a maintenance landing.. at pago pago ...someone commented that the crew was hungry and wanted to get some food!....we were there for about 4 hours

Thanks for posting this, brings back memories. Used to live in Tafuna and watch the -141s take off and land. It's pronounced "Pahngo-Pahngo". Only get to fly over it now on my way to Sydney.
