On 4th May 2012 Mayor Len Brown declared Auckland a Fair Trade City. Michael Toliman from the Neknasi Coffee Growers Cooperative Society presented the Mayor with a Fair Trade City certificate and gave him a traditional Papua New Guinea style celebratory chant. www.fairtradeauckland.org
