How long do you wait before skinning them? What about putting them on some ice? Will the meat stiffen up if you don't skin right away?

Good thing you got a second shot off that first squirrel...the other shots were good though. How far was the furthest shot? If you haven't already, try the squirrel in spaghetti sauce...in a crock pot. AWESOME!!!! Having it tonight.

you do know that putting your stock against wood messes with the ballistics of the bullet when its in side the barrel right?

@andrewjb96 Is that so? The barrel on my rifle is free floated. Try telling the squirrels that the ballistics were affected. lol:-)
