  • who wouldnt want a career carrying out orders for a tyrannical goverment

  • @SirOneoneselfandone thats alright i suppose, ill be getting high grades and ucas points anyway, im a l/cpl in cadets already and ill be doing camp america soon, plus ive got the bronze dofe - hopefully this will make me stand out! lol

  • @miky261 no but competition is high. you only really need 2 a-levels

  • Do you HAVE to have a degree to be an officer? im only doing A-levels, i dont need the student debt from uni, and none of the courses interest me.

  • I was enlisted in the US Army for 10 years. This was a soft sell. I would have asked for the numbers on longevity. Medical benefits and cost of living. Funny the mentioning of 'sailing'... in my day,'Did they promise you a yacht?' was a check question before you signed your contract. 'Tied-in' was an interesting term; in all it wasn't definable.

MY favorite quote,'there is a chocolate box filled with career training.'. Would have loved to meet one of those English businesses that hire on after?

  • I wonder how much this is going to help me since I'm in the USA.... :S well, information cannot hurt.
