NES Pinball Lua Bot

Watch in amazement as a small program plays a very bad game of Pinball.

It's all and all about as interesting as watching paint dry, but hey, if that's your thing...


Want to run this? First you'll need this, which has some useful screen-drawing functions and some other things.

This is the actual bot itself. If you set "alden" to true at the top, it'll play using another person's bot. The code's a mess, though. :(

What does it do if it gets to the Mario bonus stage?

It does nothing! At least, not in this video. At some point I made really, really basic implementation that would just try to keep itself under the ball, which led to the girl becoming a pancake more often than not, but... oh well :D
