yeah everyone thinks that the government employing people will fix everything, but that money comes out of everyone's paychecks as tax, or out of defense, so we don't have the best fighter jet or nuclear sub in the world, or its just printed by the fed, which means your paycheck doesn't buy as much and China looses faith in US bonds.

Using gov funds to pay everyone to work is the snake eating its tail. You pay the gov to pay you, and money is lost each time around.
