Yeah,a little quick on the tempo. But still a great job. It was very shortly after this concert,that David Byron was fired. I still don't understand why. I mean,he looks great here and does a fantastic job. I went to see them in Des Moines,Iowa later in 1976 and David was already gone. They opened for Kiss,and sadly,got booed constantly although,I loved it.

It make an interesting point, it's just too bad that one of the nights that weren't so good just happened in front of a big festival crowd and was videotaped for posterity. Too bad there's not videotape on Youtube of the band on one of the better nights.

David Byron had a drinking problem that rendered him able to perform onstage consistently. And it wasn't just not being able to sing properly, he was also belligerent towards audiences. I think Hensley said one night David actually told an audience to fuck off. So they had to give him the boot.
