I worked security for 2 years.backstreet was one of the best clubs I ever worked in.The best security team.I work security at the shows..I'll allway keep backstreet close in my heart....

A friend told me that Charlie is doing shows once a month at Atlanta's Model T. I sure miss those days at Backstreet! The gang and I would love to go and see the show, and go dancing later. There are so many wonderful memories attached to that place. The Atlanta gay scene is not the same anymore! The places that held fond memories are all gone . We also loved The Armory,among other clubs. There will never be another club to compare to Backstreet!!

Hi Patrick! It's great to find your channel and thank you so much for posting the editorial on Charlie Brown's Cabaret. I am so disapointed to learn that the club is no longer in existence because immediately after watching the video, I sent it to my best friend and said "we must go here someday!" It's such a shame it's closed, but hopefully someone can persuade Miss Charlie that "the show must go on." Anyway, thanks again.

@Leggsyface Apparently Raven is living in OK. these days. No the Raven on the Drag Race is a different that also goes by the same name. The Atlanta Raven is the better of the 2.

WOW what an amazing trip down memory lane. I lived in Atlanta from 1996 to 2001 and lived spent most of my time there at Backstreet having the time of my life. I miss that time SO MUCH and wanna thank you for this video. Amazing... Backstreet will be missed but the memories will never close. Its all comming back to me now. XOXO
