Motorola Droid Firmware Reset --- Android Reset

You may at some point have the need to do a firmware reset on your Motorola Droid. Maybe you just want to reset your Android to start over from a clean state or maybe you have some other need for a firmware reset. I, as a developer, find it useful to do a factory firmware reset on occasion as part of my app testing. Whatever the reason, here is a quick demonstration of how it is done on the Motorola Droid.

Ah, thanks for clarifying that. Somehow I was thinking there was an option on the Droid's 'Android System Recovery' menu that would clean the sd card, and therefore taking the sd card out would be sort of a step to prevent stupid mistakes. ...but I just had another look and I don't see any such option.

i fucked up i think help me out i did this awhile back and i bought this same phone off a friend i left the SD card in side while reseting did i fuck it up cause now when it powers up it just says "DROID" over and over again
