I appreciate that you are trying to raise awareness but you incorrectly and negatively showing Autism as a disease, not a variation, to the public. You search for a cure that doesn't exist and even if it does, I can't think of anything more ghastly than purging a child of their personality and nature. You are also humiliating people with Autism on TV, which I am infuriated about. Please, this isn't Autism speaking as a group, this isn't me speaking. PLEASE, speak for yourself.

"Autism Speaks does MAKE A DIFFERENCE"?!? Don't make me laugh. This Satanic organization does anything BUT make a difference. Does trying to find a way to wipe us out sound like "making a difference" to you? I think someone else tried to wipe another race of people as well. Who is that guy? Oh. HITLER. Autism speaks are just a bunch of tyrants that need to burn in hell for thinking that autism is horrifying and is worse than aids diabetes or cancer. not only that they think autistics are the reason that families divorce and cause families to go bankrupt by trying to help them with their biomedical treatments and therapies that think that it will "improve" them but in reality it does more harm than good. I have aspergers So I say to autism speaks fuck you and burn in hell for all eternity!!!

Autism Speaks, I praise you for raising awareness and helping familys with a child with Autism. But your TV adverts show Autism in general as a scary disease and you even compare it to aids. ASD is a spectrum disorder, so please don't just portray it as low-funtioning, because the ads humiliate higher-functioning Autistics. I also think that your search for a cure is a little too like Hiter searching for an aryan race. I do not hate you, I just do not agree with you. Please speak for yourself.

My daughter has worked with children who have profound symptoms on the ASD. I may not use the correct terminology, and my heart is in the right place. I have observed children, said to be at their peak performance, learn to talk, to sign, and to communicate their needs and wants. She has made such a difference for the families and children she works with and it is amazing what can be done when people know what they are doing.

@RawrItBeMe Good point, I don't think they are looking to speed up the brain or change personality either. But I do know that science is research stem cells which have alot to do with Autism -and this treatment will be for every human at any age. It will not change who we are -just restore damaged cells in the body.
