It is very sad to see a very beautiful place and the future of it being polluted like that..Development is a very good for a country but if the Government put its greedy self before people that's what happens...We the people can talk till we blue in the face and it works sometimes but it our Govt. signs contract with a foreign company without thinking of the people, we the people suffer.. It is sad..

I remember going to Madang for holidays when we were growing up in Mt Hagen in the late 70s through to the early 90s.

As the speaker says the ocean was so clear you could see the brightly colored coral gardens even while standing. I am shocked to see these images of Madang now.

It is terrible to see how far exploitation of Papua New Guinea's amazing vibrant and diverse peoples, animals, land, air and water has come in the last 15 years.

This film made me feel helpless and very, very angry. This level of human greed and selfishness is sickening and (as always) it is people who have lived in harmony with their environment for generations that are suffering. When will people learn to be content with enough?

it is sad that the humans dont learn from the mistakes they have done elsewhere and just think shortterm. it is ovious that is just a matter of time until the the last big tunas are catched and all what is left is destruction of the sea; the country and the native people like elsewhere it happened too.
