YAY, Cara, thank you! A co-worker was just enquiring about my "Washington State vacation" and this is a perfect reply! It makes me so happy to think of going again this year I could just weep!
-
you guys shower at the gorge? that's something I've never experienced haha
-
Going the 5th of this September can't wait to see both DMB and Ben Harper
-
We just got back from our first DMB Gorge trip and your video captured the moment perfectly.. Wish it went longer :-) Great job.

not going to lie, very good version, until he played night 2 at west palm beach. look it up shit was amazing. carter literally had like 7 min drum solo where no one else played just him. everyone stood on the stage and just watched in amazment.

Very nicely put together. I feel like that should be a comercial for getting people to go to the Gorge for that weekend every year.

This will be my 8th year going!!! I meet up with the college (U of M) friends here each year. This year there'll be close to 30 of us!! Great video but videos and pictures can't describe how incredible this weekend is!! Beautiful venue (and women), Best Friends, Alcohol (and other fun stuff), DMB and OAR music, and Fun-loving happy DMB fans for 3 days and nights of Awesome Memories!! 2 Weeks Away!!! Yall travel safe!!!

Great video! I keep hoping some film student will make documentary about the "Gorge Experience", could be great with band, fan and staff interviews. Hard to describe what it's like and it's more than just a concert.

I know what you mean. If I go this year I am going to film everything. Last year it was just a last minute thought, and as you can see from the shaking camera my blood sugar was low and hands trembling from too much fun and sun, and not enough food and water. ha ha But it is an experience that matches nothing else, and speaks about the loyalty their fans have to the Gorge Experience.

what an awesome video..well done... can't wait now...planning on seeing tom petty at the gorge... never been.. any suggestions? Seat tickets vs. lawn... when to get there for a 1 day concert? What to bring..what not to bring haha.. thanks

My advice is to buy the best seats you can afford. The closer the better. But if you can't get seats in the center "B" section in the first 20 rows (which are fabulous seats), you can still have a great view from the lawn. My recommendation is to plop down at the base of one of the towers where the sound mixing guys sit. Great view right over the tops of the heads of the people in reserved seating.

The full version of Two Step from the Saturday night concert is 13 minutes long -- too long for YouTube. The only video crews I saw (and I was pretty close) were the guys who were shooting for the big screens behind the band. I hope the band was recording that night for a future Live Tracks CD. It was an awesome show and Dave's voice was dead on.
