check out another fantastic video:Boost Your Metabolism with Coconut Oil!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMJUdAyaVBY&feature=related

I am 52
August 2009, I started taking 1-2 table spoons of coconut oil as a daily supplement.
I was interested in the coconut oil after I saw a few You Tube videos promoting how it "helps" boost your metabolism. I need all the help I could get, Sure! I wanted a "boost", I needed to get my energy back and be able to trot on the treadmill.
This is my experience of the benefits of Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Un-refined Coconut Oil
I don't believe everything I see or hear, I have to see for myself, if this miracle oil is all what it says it is...

I wonder why I didn't get sick when I went on back on the Enbrel-this drug suppressed my immune system in the early fall, in the midst of the flu & season, all my co worker where sick, but, for some reason, with my immune system compromised, I didn't even have a sniffle? But, also, I was eating healthier with low carb lifestyle.
I am no longer taking the Enbrel, the flu season is upon us, and almost every co-worker has been sick this past month....could this be my protection? Why did my weight start dropping in mid August at 2-4 pound per week?
All the questions and now 4 months later...I am proclaiming my health has improved totally.

  • I use the same oil. I just starting using the coconut oil a few months ago, but I LOVE it! Coconut oil is good for us inside and out. The organic kind for sure. This stuff is awesome.

  • @littleblondemop yes, I agree 100%, coconut oil is a wonder oil, thanks so much for watching :)

  • my scalp in the front of my head shows :( i have such thin hair there i dont know what to do i have to have bangs side swept to go over it and it looks like its gettiing thinner will this help? i am so upset

  • @24morningstar I have been using coconut oil on my scalp along with apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper, and it help thicken my thinning hair, and great scalp treatment, I would try rubbing coconut oil into the scalp as a deep condition and see if you can help hair growth, good luck, make sure you buy virgin unrefined coconut oil, natural

  • i just bought the african angel coconut oil , do you know if it can be used as a leave in conditioner or does it have to be washed out ?

  • @Knowjoke I am sure you need to apply the oil to dry hair, tiny bit to let it soak in, or leave it in over night and wash it out...either way, virgin coconut oil works great as a deep conditioner and scalp treatment, but just use enough to soak into the hair cuticle and massage the scalp. Some times wet hair, the oil does not penetrate the hair shaft as well, heat up the oil and deep condition, then rinse warm water. Thanks for watching

  • I use this coconut oil as well. When working at the Farmers Market selling coconuts, I'd say, "A coconut a day keeps the doctor away"! I lived on the beach for a year and a half and I tell you my skin looked rough and tough. I use the oil to remove makeup and replentish my skin. People think I'm at least ten years younger than I am, (58). I use it on my hair, face, body and even put it in my makeup. I use it as a spread on my morning toast. Spread the word, "Coconut" and live healthier! Love it!

  • I love Coconut Oil, I apply it on damp hair. Now, I have a spray bottle with tea tree oil and aloe vera juice and water. I spray my hair, then divide into sections applying the coconut (unrefined from Philippines, got it at Trader Joe's in Georgia). i apply it and and allow my hair to dry naturally. My hair is moist, non brittle, or dry with a nice sheen. Try it!

  • Cast Away :)

  • It's also a natural laxative...things Gilligan never told us. lolz...but if it's good for keeping the body in keytosis during the protein diet,so much the better.

  • Tom Hank's character wasn't able to survive by eating or drinking just coconut oil, its a natural laxative, his character confirms this

  • @Bonnie90505 so how do i apply like since my hair is so thin i should use a little right? and than how long do i leave on? when do i wash it out? please help
