Dr. Bounous, Immunotecs Director of Research and Development, has had a distinguished academic career and has co-authored numerous articles in major professional journals worldwideAfter completing his studies at the University of Turin in Italy, Dr. Bounous was awarded the 1965 medal of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 1968, he was named Career Investigator of the Medical Research Council of Canada, a post he held for a period of 25 years. It was in 1978 that he initiated his studies on the discovery and development of a dietary protein source from whey concentrate; work that eventually led to the creation of Immunocal.
