REMASTERED AUDIO. Epic track that is the outstanding center piece of the debut 'solo' album, 'Viva Hate' & {my own personal favorite track}. Recorded at The Wool Hall, Bath in the autumn of 1987.
In the intervals between 'sessions' for 'Viva Hate' Morrissey was preparing the artwork for the yet unreleased final Smiths single {Last Night I Dream't That Somebody Loved Me}.
This most magnificent 'Swan Song' was originally going to be adorned on the back with the inscription, {'When i sleep with that picture beside me ... I really think its you'}.
The last singles inner sleeve was also going to feature a lyric from 'Well i wonder' {'Please keep me in mind'}.
If for sake of argument, these were overt messages to 'Marr', It adds weight to the theory that 'Late Night Maudlin Street' was also one of Morrissey's Post Smiths 'Johnny' songs.
@MozLuv59 well to keep it simple... let's just say flac = the highest audio quality.

One of his most underrated, least popular songs. Haven't the foggiest idea why.
