Unbelievable how much damage this non-indigenous species is causing in my beloved home state.
Can anyone shoot these hogs from the air?
It looks like a helluva lot of fun and doing a much needed service at the same time.

@AdmiralGST They work well...they just don't have the penetration that the rifles do. Also the ammo is MUCH more expensive since you're running 00 or slugs.

Can you harvest these for food, or are they unedible? Looks like a fun time. In Wi. we have nothing like this.

@vtxphantom We harvested several of these and gave them to a non profit that processes them and gives the meat to needy families...typically, however, it is unfeasible to drive around and pick them all up. Most of the time 50-100 are killed in 2 hours. Remember, this is not hunting; it is an all out war against an invasive and vastly overpopulated species.
