  • "First person to do the joke will get insta-fail, and no supper." Dagnabbit! Now you put that stupid joke in my head and there is no place for it to go.

  • There is a version of this video narrated by Patrick Stewart and available on Amazon. The Planets is a remarkable composition. Each planet's music is based on a different type of music from a different era. For example, Uranus is expressionistic, Mercury, neoclassic and Jupiter, Romantic. It is certainly one of the most popular classical pieces of the 20th Century. Holst was a genius.

  • For some reason, Tomita's rendition of Holst's "Uranus" always reminds me of the music from a Danish film from 1984 entitled "Samson og Sally," a forgotten classic of Scandinavian animation directed by Jannik Hastrup.

  • the synth master

  • Uranus is part 6, not 7

  • @trylonperisphere They sound more like metallic noises to me.

  • lol! i love your video description haha :)

  • For some reason the music reminds me of March of the Broomsticks from Fantasia.

  • I personally prefer Holst's version but this is good and I can hear a few pieces of the Neptune song in this song

  • cool music man
