@Skillfullnewbee wow finally someone says what I always thought. GT5 is "real" for nerds that cant drive for shit. forza 3 is much more realistic.

You can´t really compare them if you don´t drive the same cars on the same track. I know that both games have a number of real circuits, so maybe they have one same track? And so with the cars.

@Skillfullnewbee you got a point there. GT has been known to have near-touchy handling especially for FR and MR. but that doesnt compare to how touchy cars like the GT-R are. they have to limit the realism, cause if they didnt, nobody but the pros would enjoy the game.

Graphics shouldn't have been the basis of war. That's how GT5 and Forza lost to Hot Pursuit. Picking between who comes first between GT and Forza, id go for forza. They have custom paint and is a little more fun to play,which is why we play in the first place.

As a previous GT owner (I had all 4 and loved them) and full Forza series owner (i've got all 3) I must say I'm VERY impressed with the physics of Forza 3 and I like the xbox controller MUCH better than the PS - especially for driving.
That said, the graphics in GT5 are immaculate, they look incredible. Forza has great graphics - but they're much brighter and more visually appealing than in real life, almost cartooney when compared with GT I feel like...
I may buy a PS3 simply for GT5

Although both are sim's they are two completely different game's, I for one, prefer Forza 3 as its both fun and realistic. I bought a playstation 3 solely for Gran- turismo 5 prologue and it was definitely not worth the wait or money. Gran- tursimo deliver's phenomenal Graphics But simply is not fun, it's almost too life- like, and personally I think The the creators of Gran-turismo have tried too hard spoiling the game in many aspects, you may disagree, but this is only my point of view.
