@sonyericssonsupport Unfortunately that not worked for me !I turn off all my Security : Firewall ,Antivirus etc .But still same error ! I looked at the forums but have not found any solution for this problem .If you have a suggestion ?It would be a huge relief .THX in advance .

@pariazari Aren't they automatically backed up and sychronized with your Google/Gmail account?

Going around in circles trying to find an option to backup the contacts from my X10 -- all the documentation I've come across so far is concerned with transferring contacts TO my phone.

I fix the problem :) For anyone who has this problem .Follow this procedure :Reboot your pc and go in to Safe Mode \ Install Pc Companion \ Restart your PC in normal mode .Turn on your internet security or AV software you have \Go to Exclusions \ find Exclusion processes and browse install folder on C: Sony Ericsson \Open Sony Ericsson PC Companion and find PCCompanion.exe . Thats it !!! Its work like a Charm .Thanks for your time Josh .

Any FIX for PC Companion setup.exe stop working error on windows 7 x64 ?And I turn off my security when install to mention that .I tried almost everything but same S... every time !

@Svilenkonac One question, do you get an error message when you try to install PC Companion on your PC? I have it installed myself on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. -Josh

@sonyericssonsupport Yes its at the beginning of the installation .I got Windows home premium x64 .How you install .Normal or true safe mode ?
