Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (July 12, 1884 January 24, 1920) was an Italian artist who worked mainly in France. Primarily a figurative artist, he became known for paintings and sculptures in a modern style characterized by mask-like faces and elongation of form. He died in Paris of tubercular meningitis, exacerbated by poverty, overwork, and addiction to alcohol and narcotics. After his death his wife commited suicide.

Amadeo is and will be forever my favorite painter of all time. The soft power and the quite gentleness of his paintings could only arise from a deep breathtakingly passion. I love the man, I love his art ...
This video is a beautiful tribute to Modigliani. Thank you for sharing BytomGirl.

Wonderful video.
Modigliani is one of my favorite artist.
Most of his portraits have distinctive almond shaped eyes akin to early egyptian painting and sculpture. Sometimes the eyes have no details just a green daub of paint in the sockets.
Thank you very much for the share.
Love and Graditude...

Yes, I have noticed the same thing about the eyes and another thing I noticed about them is that ofter one eye is half closed as of it was drooping. And I thank you very muc. I am glad you like it.
