GOSLING'S NAMED OFFICIAL RUM OF THE GOLF.COM WORLD AM

Officials with the 27th annual World Amateur Handicap Championship have announced that Gosling's has been named the official rum of the tournament. Additionally, Gosling's signature drink, the "Dark n' Stormy," has been named the official cocktail of the World Am and will be featured at the "World's Largest 19th Hole" after each day of competition.

"We are proud to have Gosling's on board for this year's World Am,'" said Dave Macpherson, tournament director of the GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship. "It's sponsorships with companies like Gosling's that assist us in making the World Am a huge success each year. We are hoping for warm, sunny days on all the golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area during the event and 'Dark n' Stormy' nights at the 19th hole."

Founded in Bermuda in 1806 by James Gosling, Gosling's signature spirit is their deep, rich Black Seal Rum which has won over six top awards internationally. The Dark n' Stormy drink is a mixture of the acclaimed Black Seal Rum and the non-alcoholic Stormy Ginger Beer -- a longtime favorite drink of the Bermudian people and now winning converts elsewhere.

The World's Largest 19th Hole is held every night at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center after each day of competition and features an extensive golf exposition, equipment demos, entertainment, open bars, concerts, prize drawings and food from some of Myrtle Beach's finest restaurants. This year, the 19th hole will feature appearances by golf funnyman and network analyst David Feherty and short game guru Dave Pelz.

The 27th annual GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship will be held August 30 through September 3 as more than 3,000 amateur golfers are expected to converge on more than 50 Myrtle Beach area golf courses to compete for the right to be world champion. Registration for the four-day event is $550 and includes four rounds of golf and nightly access to the 19th Hole.

Hosted by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, the World Am is a 72-hole tournament. Players are flighted according to their handicap and at the conclusion of the four rounds, flight winners advance to the 18-hole world championship playoff at the renowned Dunes Golf & Beach Club. The World Am features six competitive divisions, ranging from men and women 49 years-of-age and under to the super seniors 70 years-of-age and older.

The event's inclusiveness is apparent in its past champions. Players with handicaps as low as three and as high as 34 have won the World Championship and three women have earned the distinction including 2009 winner Linda Fuller from Richmond, Texas.

More than 50 Myrtle Beach area golf courses will comprise this year's World Am and consist of some of the finest clubs in the area including all four Barefoot Resort & Golf courses, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, True Blue Golf Plantation, The Dunes Beach & Golf Club, Grande Dunes, TPC Myrtle Beach and all three courses at Myrtle Beach National.

Boston, MA- Gosling's of Bermuda and the Boston Red Sox announced today that they have reached a multifaceted corporate partnership agreement, making Gosling's the "Official Rum of the Boston Red Sox".

Gosling's will also have their logos and marks displayed at Fenway Park, the 98 year old home of the Boston Red Sox and the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in Bermuda in 1806 by James Gosling, Gosling's signature spirit is their deep, rich Black Seal Rum, which has won over six top awards internationally and is now winning over converts locally.

Seventh-generation Gosling's president, Malcolm Gosling, summed up the new association this way: "We are extremely proud to be part of Red Sox Nation and look forward to a bright and sunny relationship as more and more fans discover something called the Dark 'n Stormy®."

Gosling's unique rums, the dark Black Seal and a new Gold Rum, will henceforth be available wherever spirits are sold at Fenway Park, including all luxury suites at the facility.

Additionally, the popular Boardroom meeting facility in the EMC Club will be named the "Dark ' n Stormy Boardroom" as a tribute to the popular Gosling's cocktail. Made with 2 oz. of Black Seal Rum and topped with Gosling's Stormy Ginger Beer, the heat-beating Dark 'n Stormy has long been the national drink of Bermuda.
