Join the Gahanna Youth Council Today!

The Gahanna youth council has released a promotional video urging fellow high school students to join them in planning teen events, participating in community service projects, and all around fun.

The senior members of the group worked hard to plan, write, and film the video that captures the attention of viewers with humor and creativity. The council created a descriptive storyboard during an afternoon meeting at Gahanna City Hall. City of Gahanna Public Information Manager Brian Hoyt collaborated with the teens to film and edit the segment into a minute long clip.

"We had so much fun seeing the process of making a public service announcement and we really enjoyed working together, both professionally and personally," said senior Samantha Johnson.

The video is posted on the City of Gahanna website (www.Gahanna.gov) and YouTube page (www.YouTube.com/CityofGahanna) and will air at the Gahanna Lincoln High School. The group is hoping that the video will spark interest and bring new members and fresh ideas.

The Gahanna Youth Council meets every Wednesday at 3pm at City Hall to organize teen events, participate in community service opportunities, and learn about the importance of public service.
