I know that when I first started listening to this song it was during a time when everything was so upside down. This song was like my life... of were I had been, where I was at (in the battle), and were I wanted to be... to be filled so that I may be emptied sowing God's seed on others. Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for the change you have made in my life, for the healing of old wounds, and for your grace. I love you Jesus!

The devil has been defeated, his plans have not worked out as planned, and Jesus always rises as the victor. Amidst the struggle and the pain in your life, push for Jesus, trust in Him, and praise God. He is still God no matter what the circumstances. "Remain in me and I will remain in you."

And the fact that that was the season Jill was currently in when she was singing this song is yes, a testimony, but, so much more, it's a relatable story, and strangely, it helps you to realize that even people like Jill go through the desert, the dry and perilous times in life. We know through Jill's experience that we are not alone. I'm not alone, you know, it's not just me. We really are all in this together. All of God's people (whether well-known, or not known at all) go thru deserts too.

What I love most about this song and the entire album is that this Song is directly for her (and of course many others) But that's her testimony no matter what season we're in be it the Desert or the Overflow as long as He is Still God we have a reason to Worship! YAY!
