Desert Song (Blog)

The devil has been defeated, his plans have not worked out as planned, and Jesus always rises as the victor. Amidst the struggle and the pain in your life, push for Jesus, trust in Him, and praise God. He is still God no matter what the circumstances. "Remain in me and I will remain in you."

What I love most about this song and the entire album is that this Song is directly for her (and of course many others) But that's her testimony no matter what season we're in be it the Desert or the Overflow as long as He is Still God we have a reason to Worship! YAY!

And the fact that that was the season Jill was currently in when she was singing this song is yes, a testimony, but, so much more, it's a relatable story, and strangely, it helps you to realize that even people like Jill go through the desert, the dry and perilous times in life. We know through Jill's experience that we are not alone. I'm not alone, you know, it's not just me. We really are all in this together. All of God's people (whether well-known, or not known at all) go thru deserts too.

I too have lost a baby but at fullterm to stillbirth, all i can say is you have shown amazing courage

Praise God, you trully ministered 2 me... I've been dealing with alot things lately but this testimoney has really opened my eyes... God is bigger than every problem and to Jesus be the glory!

Praise the Lord Almighty! He is amazing--we just have to trust in Him completelty, because we are sure whatever happens, it will turn out to more than what we expected. Thats how great our God is!!

God is in control and he knows whats the best for us.just trust him worship him.
