  • What HP are in these trains? anybody

  • 2x2,250bhp!

  • So am i right in thinking these 125 trains are only 500bhp? my truck is a V8 580 bhp

  • They are very powerful and very fast!

And an absolute joy to drive at 130 mph!!!

  • sorry im not calling you a lier by any means, but i find it hard to belive that a train that might weigh 500 tons plus only has a 500bhp engine

  • NO!!! 5000bhp........LOL!

  • i still think the intercity swallow livery is the best HST livery

  • Voyagers/Pioneers/Meridians, all have at least 4 engines. These 125's have only two engines. these engines have a combined horsepower of close to or over 2000bhp - try getting that out of a car without a few fumes!

and the multiple-engined Voyagers most likely give out more fumes than these do, just using fuel with more sulphur in.

  • @sarah19766 4500hp (each loco is 2250)

I think this livery was the best ever used on British Rail.

  • 2:11 to 2:29 I don't those 150s are HST wannabes given the speed they're trying to do!

  • @sarah19766 think the buddy meant 2 times 2,250 hp, the x and the comma are kinda confusing there

  • Am i the only one who misses the Flying Bananas, First Generation DMU's and BR? It would appear not. Cool.

  • @sarah19766 Engine: 2,250 bhp (1,678 kW) each power car

  • tyhr Intercity livery better then the FGW EMT or any of the privatised train companies

  • A bit more than 500 Bhp mate

  • nice equipment

would like to see it running in our tracks

  • The Bufferd HST on the left is 43013. Thats running with Network Rails New Measurement train.
