  • The bread did not have to dissolve, it was placed inside the pipe to hold back the water so the pipe could get hot enough to melt the solder, then after opening the vale the bread shot out of the pipe.

  • the bread is a great trick, however, it will only work with a very, very small amount of water and pressure still passing through the pipe. Great video though, thanks.

  • Never use bread. It does not "dissolve", it clogs your pipes. There are much better ways.

  • Nicely done vid and a great tip to use.

  • I like your bread idea what I dont think is right is that you solder the hose bib in place. Next time use solder a male or female adapter with threads. Much easier
