  • here is a good speaking tip... speak into a mic next time

  • Its difficult to portray a stammer because they often will try to hide most of the turmoil that goes on inside. This film certainly raises the iceberg a few notches. Most films do portray stammerers as a weak or a joke. An exception was I Claudius but The King's Speech revealed more of what it is like to have such a speech impediment at a critical moment.

  • I "liked" the video but did not watch all the way through... I haven't seen the movie yet! Great to see Kara featured here, I was a volunteer, then a student, and eventually a clinician at TRC and the program Kara runs is wonderful. Thumbs up!
