superb, any long versions on here, orig band?
-
One of the greatests bands ever :D

The stranglers were a fucking great group! They were original, humorous, innovative, indefined, and lyricists; there was a time when education and formation was something important in arts and this is one of the proofs, Dave Greenfield is the fucking master!! He looks like John Lord (Deep Purple). Hear the extended version, you can feel much better the keyboards

@diggycman The full-length version (over six minutes -- see the one posted by nowhereman081, for example) has a long keyboard solo that clearly mimics the one in "Light My Fire". That solo is edited out of this version right around the 1:30 mark.

Bloody brilliant - the best version. Green Day should try this one -they'd do a great job.

Was this version really a spoof of the doors song, light my fire????

@diggycman
No,my friend, that´s an old song from Dionne Warwick,
written by Burt Bacharach & Hal David.
You may look here after HER version,
than you´ll find the real Beauty of this song.
