Mario Superstar Baseball - Barrel Batter 9,999 pts.

May 12, 2007 - The maximum score of the Mario Superstar Baseball-minigame Barrel Batter.

Barrel Batter is in my opinion the most difficult minigame of MSB, so I'm very proud of this achievement.

Since people kept asking me about the strats and how to hit the balls that good, here a short summary:
~ You can control the up/down-trajectory by pressing the control stick up or down (up = down and vice versa) and the left/right-trajectory by the time when you hit the ball (early = leftwards, late = rightwards).
~ For each hit bonus barrel you get 3 extra balls! That's also shown under the 840pts-display in blue letters ("ball + 3").
~ You'll need to practice very long to become that good it this minigame. I played it for about 20 hours.

Guess you mean the Mario Grand Prix. You have to beat every star level in the other minigames iirc. It's very long time ago that I played it, so I'm not 100% sure.

@PS: read the video description ;) It's all about practicing it over an over...
