@SuperBoomstick wow your dumb. Canada has never spent as much money as the US in AIDS research in any fiscal year since it was discovered. I know were not the smartest country but i think even we can handle a little multitasking. we can fight aids and land on the moon at the same time but hey u just have fun in ur little fantasy world believing Canada is saving the world. and we'll just waste some more money on advancing civilization into the space age.

@thehannaman That doesn't change the fact that your government used billions of dollars in a childish race with Russia, while you could have improved the lives of millions of people. I'm answering your question, Canadians haven't landed on the moon because we're more concerned with helping the world than walking on a different planet. I can hardly believe that you think sending out gps satellites trumps fighting AIDS and poverty in Africa. It's sick. I've been there.

@bradimir69 probably because NASA is a branch of the american government. You basically wasted money during the cold war, so to answer your question we haven't landed on the moon because we were not part of a race with Russia and we spend our money on our people. NASA gets a budget of 19 billion annually from your government exclusively for deep space research. To give you an idea of how much money you Americans waste (not including Iraq), that's more than the GDP of Chad.
