Wars are fought for political reasons. American didn't lose a single battle in Vietnam = fact. But they lost the war bc N. Vietnam reached their political goals. Sadat believed the only way to bring Israel to the negotiating table was through war. Israel had built a the strongest defense in the World on the Bar Lev Line, and refused to meet w/ Sadat. But they began meeting only months after the war. These meetings led to the treaty. So it was Sadat who achieved his political goal = Egypt won.

Dont see why muslims are happy about Islamic conterys wining war. I tought they dident like Sharia and that they are just as nice as we are, and that we have no reason to not trow them out?
