Short list of ingredients.
Linseed oil - raw or boiled
Thinner - Paint thinner or gum turpentine
Colorant - Use universal tint or upgrade to stain grade tint(finer particle size). Or you can skip this step.
First coat - drench the wood
Second coat - Apply liberally and wipe any drips when finished

Coat wood again at the FIRST sign of deterioration. It may need it yearly. There is no need to sand or prep. Just reapply.

  • I have more vids ready to be compiled and uploaded. The problem is time. The difference between boiled and raw is that boiling changes composition. Raw linseed oil takes between 2 and 4 days to polymerize(dry). Boiled takes between 1 and 2 days. I don't know exactly what takes place when it is boiled. I only know that the characteristics are different between the two.
